On the occasion of World Diabetes Day 2025, Enam Medical College & Hospital organized an awareness rally to raise public understanding about diabetes and highlight the importance of health and safety in the workplace.
Under this year’s theme, “Know Diabetes at Work, Take Effective Action”, the rally started in the morning from the college premises.
The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable Principal of Enam Medical College and the CEO of Enam Medical College Hospital, whose participation added vibrancy and significance to the rally.
The rally also saw participation from department heads, specialist doctors, nurses, students, officers, and staff. Their enthusiastic involvement helped spread the message of diabetes prevention more effectively.
The rally was organized by the Endocrinology Department, whose representatives emphasized that diabetes is a silent killer, making awareness and the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits extremely important.
Through this rally, positive messages regarding diabetes prevention, proper management, and workplace health and safety were communicated to all participants. The organizers expressed their hope to continue such public awareness initiatives in the future.
