On October 29, Enam Stroke Centre at Enam Medical College & Hospital proudly observed World Stroke Day with a grand awareness rally. The rally brought together esteemed specialist doctors, nurses, faculty members, and students from various departments of the hospital — all united under one purpose: to spread life-saving awareness among the public.
This year’s global theme was “Every Minute Counts.” Participants emphasized the importance of recognizing the early signs of stroke using the acronym F.A.S.T. — Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, and Time to call for help. Everyone was urged to act immediately if these symptoms appear, as saving minutes can mean saving lives.
Following the rally, a discussion session was held where medical experts highlighted the significance of early stroke detection and prompt treatment initiation.
Enam Medical College & Hospital remains committed to serving the community and enhancing public health awareness through continuous education and outreach activities.
