The Radiology & Imaging Department of Enam Medical College Hospital is vastly equipped with advanced and modern imaging equipment that provides a complete range of radiological services.

General Imaging:

This is the central of the department and executive hub of the department. This Centre Mainly offers general radiography and a range of specialized radiological procedures, for example, mammography and ultrasound for outpatients.

 Advanced Imaging:

This is the specialized procedure that provides Computer Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services.

Urgent request for specialized examinations outside normal operating hours are handled by the radiologist and radiographer on duty. They are supported by a team of specialized radiologists, radiographers and nurses who are on-call and can be activated to come in at any hour.

To meet the demands for CT and MR services at EMCH, the hospital also operates an extension of the existing radiological services, providing MRI, CT and general radiography.

Interventional Radiology:

This is an enormously specialized procedure suite that predominantly provides vascular and interventional radiology services.  At the time of Urgent requests for vascular and interventional procedures, outside normal operating hours, the radiologist and radiographer on duty handle the procedure. Basically they are backed by a team of specialised radiologists, radiographers and nurses who are on-call and can be activated to come in at any time.

 Inpatient Imaging:

This service is basically for performing all the general radiography, computed tomography and ultrasound requests for inpatients and currently operates 24 hours daily including weekends and public holidays. Besides It also offers round-the-clock operating theatre imaging services and mobile radiography and ultrasound services for the patients who are too ill to be brought to the center for their examinations.
